Although this is not an intraoperative emergencies course, professionals of all levels will benefit from this event. First and second year nurse anesthesia residents who are new to the operating room will especially benefit from the hands on airway management and high-fidelity crisis training, as well as the practice of stepping into their new provider role. Third year nurse anesthesia residents and CRNAs will benefit from refining the skills required for responding to common emergencies on call.

From getting comfortable in crisis scenarios to early exposure to advanced skills, we believe that nurses of all levels, including new graduate nurses, will benefit from this event.

In addition to getting a leg up on the skills you’ll acquire in CRNA school, attending conferences demonstrates that you are serious about investing in your education and that you are a lifelong learner.

The Experience is a two day event from 9am-5pm both days.

The simulation curriculum is designed to build upon itself over the course of both days. Commitment to the full experience is required.

SimWell Innovations, a CRNA-led expert in simulation curriculum design, powers the CCA Experience with programming built to help you excel. Every lecture, skill station, scenario, and debrief is intentionally designed to maximize your learning, boost your confidence, and ensure you leave with skills that last.

Although we dive into all of the skills you need for Advanced Cardiac Life Support, ACLS is a separate program.

The research is clear. Simulation WORKS! By practicing managing emergencies in the safety of a sim lab, learners develop the muscle memory and pattern recognition for managing crises in the real world.

No need to dress up! Comfortable clothes or scrubs are ideal for a hands on day.

As we need to secure staffing and equipment for a successful high fidelity simulation program, this purchase is not refundable. However, we do understand extraordinary circumstances can occur and are happy to allow transfer of conference seat and associated fee to another participant. A waitlist will be created once all of our spots are filled to facilitate this process.
